Sure Konsole is great but nothing beats Vandyke’s SecureCrt, only avaiable for Ubuntu and Red Hat it can be installed on Fedora like so:
- Download RPM 64bits from: http://www.vandyke.com/download/securecrt/download.html
- If you try to install it, it will bitch complain about some old libpython, so next step is: cd /usr/lib64
- Make symbolic link from existing libpython installed: ln -sf libpython2.7.so.1.0 libpython2.6.so.1.0
- Install RPM with nodeps option: rpm -ivh scrt-7.0.2-418.rhel6-64.x86_64.rpm –nodeps
- Run securecrt 🙂
